YOUR ACCOUNT
Scanning the tag is how you get in.
There is no sign-up form on this site, and nothing to fill in before you own something. A tag arrives carrying its own code; you scan it, give an email, and the account exists. Each tag opens its own part of it, and only that part:
- BandYour page — an address at cliptap.win/yourname and the profile creator behind it. A tap opens it. Change what it says whenever you like; the band never has to be rewritten.
- StickerReach — a code for the car window. Anyone who needs you can message you without either of you giving up a name or a number.
- StickerEmergency — broke down? Anyone who scans sees NOT ABANDONED and the time you left it, so a tow operator or ticket writer knows the car is not derelict.
- Pet tagFound — name, temperament and medication where a finder will actually read them, lost mode when they are missing, and a private line back to you.
Activate more than one and they share the account — a car sticker and a collar tag sit side by side, each with its own inbox, each opened by the object you activated. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and a tag you have activated stays yours.
However the code gets onto the glass, it closes the only window that matters: the few minutes when somebody standing next to your car has no way to reach you.
- $150Chicago tow, passenger car — plus $25 a day in storage, before the ticket that caused it
- $60Street cleaning ticket. $90 if it sits a week, $140+ after 25 days
- $100The boot, on top of every fine that earned it
- $75Residential permit parking
Those are the numbers a message can stop. Your city sticker is about ninety dollars every year and only proves you paid; a ClipTap tag is bought once and never renews.
Questions, or a tag that will not activate? Email [email protected] and a person will answer.
